Vaughan Constructions is building upwards at developer Hale, and owner LaSalle Investment Management’s Matraville multi-level warehouse development.
Vaughan is delivering approximately 20,000m² of overall floor area across both the ground and first floor levels.
In addition to its innovative design, the facility will feature premium office accommodation, ramp access to level one, one-way vehicle circulation for trucks and cars, heavy-duty floor slabs, breezeways, and undercover loading areas.
You will notice structural steel erected in multiple areas on the site. The western steel ramp, the northern warehouse (now at 40% completion), and the southern warehouses (now at 90% completion).
Precast concrete columns have been installed in both warehouses while bondeck has been installed to the level one suspended slab in the southern warehouse. Stud welds have also been installed and the team are laying reinforcements in preparation to pour.
On the ground floor, prepping and trimming have commenced ready for slabs to be poured while roof wiring to the southern warehouse is underway, ready to load and lay the roof.
Look out for our next update, as one of Australia’s first large-scale multi-level warehouses this project is one to watch!
